ACAP Fundraiser

ACAP is a nonprofit corporation which provides summer programs that facilitate education through recreation for children and young adults with autism and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Although camp fees cover most operating costs, each summer there remains a significant financial responsibility to our teachers, assistants, program staff, and continued costs to sustain the organization. In addition, many government sponsored assistance programs to do not provide funds to the family until after the service is provided. This puts a strain on ACAP as well as our clients. In order to fill this gap, ACAP relies heavily on grants, fundraising, and donations from the community.
The funds raised by this auction will go directly to funding payroll and all other operating costs to ensure that we can continue to provide services not only this summer but also well into the future.

Autistic Community Activity Program (ACAP) was founded in 1987 by a group of parents and supportive professionals looking for summer services and recreation appropriate for their children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Finding none, this group started their own and ACAP was born. Today ACAP continues its mission to provide education through recreation for children and adults with autism.
