Above and Beyond Dance - Dreamscapes

The 2014 Above and Beyond Dance silent auction will support our September 2014 production of "Dreamscapes." The online auction will dovetail into a live event which is part of the company's June 7 Benefit Party/Performance. All proxy bids will be honored at the live event.

Our auction features a variety of items including classes in aerial arts, dance, yoga, Pilates, voice, and Japanese language; jewelery; body work; an eye exam & glasses; and a signed chalk drawing by Alexander Iacovleff.

Above and Beyond Dance was founded in 2007 to explore the nearly limitless potential in the fusion of dance and circus arts work-- a blend which creates possibilities that go far beyond the traditional spectacle of circus and which expands upon the choreographic possibilities of dance. Under the directorship of Chriselle Tidrick, the company has successfully produced three seasons of circus-infused dance: "RAW" (2011) at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center; "Ascendance" (2009) at The Flea Theater; and "Seeking" (2008) at Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts. Above and Beyond Dance will premiere "Dreamscapes" September 19-21, 2014 as part of "Dreamscapes and Other Imaginings," a co-produced run of performances at The Muse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This online auction will continue at the Above and Beyond Dance Benefit Party/Performance on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 7-10pm at Soundance Studio. Soundance is located at 281 N. 7th St. (bell 7, 2nd Floor) in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
