About Our Auction
Our 2021 NSSN event fundraiser will again be virtual on December 11th, Saturday from 6-8pm. The silent auction will start on December 3rd and ends on December 11th at 8pm. Your support will help the library continue our children’s programs along with offering new adult programming, invite special guests to the library, provide special community programming such as the Pumpkin Jamboree and Senior Day, and will go towards refurbishing the StoryWalk around the Commons. The Buchanan District Library remains the busiest place in Buchanan with over 50,000 visitors a year!

The Buchanan District Library is a main staple in the community. Housing nearly 50,000 materials including books, movies, magazines, newspapers and video games, along with providing programs, computers , and community outreach, we have nearly 55,000 visitors a year! Our NEW Seed Library distributed over 800 packets of seeds to over 60 families in our community absolutely FREE! Our Library of Things has over 200 items to check out such as board games, instruments, puzzles, outdoor recreation items and tools. Where else can you borrow a kayak for the weekend? The library is also a safe place for children to come after school to work on homework, use a computer or visit with friends. Please consider supporting your local library hotspot!
