COVID-19 may be keeping us from eating and drinking together as we help WAIT House & its mission to serve homeless youth in our community.

But it won't keep us from getting together virtually!

Join us July 6-19 for our virtual Baskets of Things auction. Check out the baskets, bid, win AND support WAIT House.

ALL BASKETS MUST BE PICKED UP BY WINNERS IN PERSON AT WAIT HOUSE.

Winners will be notified by email on July 19 after 10PM. Payment can be made through the auction website using your credit card or PayPal account. To arrange payment by check or cash, please contact Erin Coon, Fund Development Coordinator at 518-879-6233.

WAIT House is unable to mail items. Please stop by WAIT House at 10-12 Wait Street in Glens Falls, NY 12801 to pick up items you have won. Pick up Monday-Friday, between 10am and 6pm before August 7, 2020. Contact us to arrange a time outside these hours.

WAIT House operates two in-house shelter programs for local youth, 16-24 years of age. Our goal is to provide stability to youth through coordinated services, reunification with families when appropriate and the provision of supervised emergency and transitional housing.

The WAIT House Emergency Shelter Program serves youth in crisis for up to 60 days. Our Transitional Living Program provides shelter and services to pregnant and parenting young women and their dependents for up to two years.

We also operate several off-site programs out of our new Joan Grishkot Street Outreach Center. WAIT House's Street Outreach, Anti-Trafficking and Safe Harbour Programs identify at risk youth, educate our community and work to prevent youth trafficking and homelessness in our area. Our housing programs assist families of all ages to locate and keep safe, affordable housing.

All WAIT House services are provided free of charge to youth and their families.
