Camino Scholars Spring Silent Auction
Camino Scholars, the education program of People’s Self-Help Housing, serves over 400 students each year at our affordable housing properties onsite learning centers. At our learning centers, students are provided with year-round academic support in the form of tutoring, homework help, and a variety of educational enrichment opportunities, including music, art, and gardening programs. As evidenced by standardized test scores, the Camino Scholars curriculum significantly improves math and literacy skills and sets students on the path to lifelong learning.
The proceeds from the Spring Silent Auction will help fund activities in the Camino Scholars program, the education program of People's Self Help Housing.
Starting on Monday, May 16th, 2022, we will open bidding for our virtual Camino Scholars Spring Silent Auction. Patrons will have until Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, to bid on auction items.
About People's Self-Help Housing
Founded in 1970, PSHH is the longest-serving nonprofit housing organization on California's Central Coast, serving over 5,000 residents in three counties. With a mission of building homes and providing services to strengthen communities and change lives, PSHH serves low-income households, families, farmworkers, seniors, and veterans. It also provides welcoming environments for those living with disabilities, youth transitioning out of foster care, and the formerly homeless. Along with building and managing beautiful and accessible neighborhoods, we offer a wide range of services to promote health, well-being, and career success.
At PSHH we build so much more than housing; we build resilient neighborhoods, places residents are proud to call home.
