Emily's Pink Team (EPT) 14th Annual Charity Outing

100% of all monies raised through this auction will be donated to EPT's cherished causes: the Arthritis Foundation, Juvenile Arthritis Camp, and Shriners Hospital. These organizations have saved Emily's life, and we are eternally committed to giving back so that these great groups may continue to improve the lives of countless others. This auction serves as the kickoff of our annual "Emily's Pink Team Golf Outing", now in its 14th year. We are dedicated to helping those who have helped us: The Arthritis Foundation, Shriners Hospital, and related causes that help support children and their families who are affected by juvenile arthritis ("JA").

Our JA Warrior Emily began her journey in 2006, when she was diagnosed with systemic-onset juvenile arthritis - at the ripe old age of 5! The years that followed had many ups and downs, and our once-active child went from an oversized stroller to a cane to a wheelchair, seemingly overnight. We needed to find answers, and fast.

Enter the Arthritis Foundation and Shriners Hospital.

A few short years after finding these two great organizations, Emily's life and prognosis were transformed. We are eternally committed to giving back so that these great people may continue to improve the lives of countless others.

In January 2018, Emily took her last injection of daily biologic medication (Kineret), ending more than a decade-long battle with the active disease. Since then, she has been blessed to experience full remission - something which less than 10% of patients with Emily's condition are lucky enough to achieve. While there is no guarantee how long the remission will last, we count our blessings every day and only hope for more good fortune in the future.
