HGSE Educate Lanka Auction

All proceeds will go directly to support the Educate Lanka Foundation.

These photos were taken by a group of Harvard Graduate School of Education students who traveled to the Hill Country of Sri Lanka this January to conduct research and produce a report for the Educate Lanka Foundation.

The online auction will remain open until April 22, 2013 at 3 PM. From 5:30 - 7:00 p.m on April 22., the silent auction will conclude in person at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

The mission of the Educate Lanka Foundation, Inc. (ELF) is to empower underprivileged students in Sri Lanka to achieve the quality education that they rightfully deserve. The primary mode of accomplishing this objective is by providing financial scholarships to those needy students who show promise of academic excellence. The Foundation acts as an independent entity to locate people from around the world to become sponsors for these scholarships. To successfully implement this process, ELF has developed a proprietary Sponsorship Model that has yielded proven results. The Foundation hopes to expand its mission throughout Sri Lanka by serving all communities, regardless of their ethnicity, caste, or religion.
