GRASP's 7th Annual Online Auction Event

GRASP is celebrating 50 years of serving our community this year! We are thankful to each and every individual, business, church, or other agency who has supported us throughout the years and made it possible to continue this work. This year our goal is to raise $16,000 to help fund our programs at GRASP. We continue to help individuals and families in need with food, utility payments, prescriptions, and resource referrals. Last year was a record breaking year for client services and we need your help to ensure we are able to meet the growing needs in our small town.

If for some reason you don't find an item that you need at our auction, we are also hoping to have as many people as possible donate $50 in honor of 50 years of service to our community.

GRASP is a nonprofit in Great Falls, SC dedicated to providing crisis assistance in the form of food, utility payments, and prescriptions to people in need. Rebecca Lowry, a Great Falls school teacher, GRASP was started by a school teacher was deeply disturbed by the number of children coming to school hungry each day and wanted to do something to help. A steering committee was developed, which ultimately resulted in the development of our organization. GRASP has grown by leaps and bounds throughout the years. For roughly forty-two years, GRASP was running solely by volunteers out of their homes or local churches. It was not until November of 2015 that GRASP could purchase the building that now houses GRASP Crisis Relief Center through funds raised by a capital campaign.

GRASP has been in existence for 50 years, working to ensure our neighbors have their basic needs met. Our mission is to provide service, referrals, and assistance to the people in our community in a Christ-like way. Our goal is to make a significant and positive impact on our community by treating every person who comes to GRASP with dignity and respect.
