Capital Campaign Summer Kick-Off

The Hartford Community Restorative Justice Center recently fulfilled our multi-year goal of purchasing a home. That's 5-7 beds that are guaranteed to go to community members in need of housing. This is HUGE at a time when housing is one of the biggest struggles for folks transitioning back into the community.

This auction is kicking off our 2023 capital campaign to fund the housing program. By supporting this auction, you're supporting stable housing for folks re-entering the community. You're supporting the HCRJC goal of community safety.

As an organization, the Hartford Community Restorative Justice Center aims to bring the restorative justice philosophy to life in the greater Hartford community. To us, this means turning the abstract concept of “community” into something tangible. Creating spaces where we can grow and resolve conflict in ways that create the environment for stronger relationships. Helping folks re-enter society in a position where they feel as though they have the support and accountability to not re-offend. Reducing crime with the intention that there be no more victims in the Hartford community.
