Help-A-Heart's 16th Annual Virtual Silent Auction

Due to continued COVID-19 concerns, we have made the decision to keep Help-A-Heart's 16th Annual Celebration of Life Dinner & Silent Auction virtual again for 2021. While we can't meet in person and enjoy the soda bar, hand out goodies to the kids, and enjoy a meal from Jethro's BBQ, we can still meet virtually to raise money for Help-A-Heart and celebrate the CHD families we support on a daily basis. Join us at 7 pm on July 19th for a Facebook Live Video which will feature some stories from our heart hero & angel families

We look forward to seeing you virtually! Bidding will start at 9 am on Monday, July 12th, & end on on Monday, July 19th, at 9 pm! There is also a 'Buy Now' option for every item, so if you want to guarantee you're a winner, click that to secure that item at that price. No one else will be able to bid on the item after that. Bid early & often!

Don't see anything you want to buy or bid on? Click the green 'Donate' button at the top right of the page. We have a goal of raising $5000 in cash donations during the month of July 2021. We provide $100 for every week (longer than 2 weeks) that a CHD child is in the hospital. $5000 would pay for 1 entire year of assistance for 1 CHD warrior. For each $25 donation, recipients will get 1 'share' of the $5000 goal & 1 entry into a drawing for a $100 Scheel's gift card. The drawing will be held on Facebook Live on August 2. Donations received between now & July 31 will receive the following incentives:

$100 or more donation - Red Help-A-Heart 20 oz Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Cup (while supplies last) & 4 'shares' of our goal of raising $5000 in donations that will provide a year of assistance for a CHD child in the hospital (also 4 entries into the $100 Scheel's gift card drawing)

$25 - 1 'share' of our goal of raising $5000 in donations that will provide a year of assistance for a CHD child in the hospital (also 1 entry into the $100 Scheel's gift card drawing).

Help-A-Heart is a nonprofit (501(c)3) organization that began in 2006 to solely benefit children with congenital heart defects (CHD’s) who are hospitalized during a surgery or other health related issues for an extended period of time. Our mission statement is 'sharing love by providing emotional and financial support for Iowa families affected by congenital heart disease.' When a child is hospitalized due to CHD and their hospitalization exceeds 2 weeks, Help-A-Heart provides $100 per week in gift cards to help cover gas, food and other expenses. Help-A-Heart also provides emotional connections to CHD and CHD angel families through monthly meetings, social events throughout the year and weekly virtual meetings as well.
