RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party Silent Auction

The RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party is on January 26, 2013 at the Iowa Events Center Vets Auditorium in Des Moines. The evening will feature live music with a special performance Johnny Holm Band, and a live silent auction. This is the event that kicks off the year of bicycling.

There will also be an online auction from January 2-22, with all high bids from the online auction becoming the starting bids at the live event on January 26. Should an online bid be the highest bid after the close of the live auction on January 26, the online winner will receive the item.

The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is an exciting organization working to promote Iowa cycling as safe and enjoyable recreation and transportation. The 501(c)(3) non-profit group was launched by bicycling advocates from across Iowa and will unite the voices of road riders, mountain bikers, recreation riders, commuters, and anyone else who prefers a bicycle for recreation and transportation.
