Road to Resilience Gala

The purpose of the Road to Resilience Gala Silent Auction is to raise funds to support KOP’s mission of providing a comprehensive resettlement experience to newly arriving Afghan wartime allies. As a grassroots organization that does not receive government funding, we rely heavily on charitable giving and fundraising events to carry out our mission. We have set a goal of resettling 100 individuals in 2023, and the funds from the auction will be used to support this goal.

Keeping Our Promise provides comprehensive resettlement assistance to endangered wartime allies who served U.S. interests in conflict and war zones.

Keeping Our Promise fundraiser gala, Road to Resilience, will take place at the Memorial Art Gallery on April 26th from 6-9p.m. The Road to Resilience provides gala guests with an intimate view of the incredible journey wartime ally individuals and families take to escape the life-threatening situation they are in for serving US interests in Afghanistan.

KOP Afghans have overcome tremendous obstacles and continue to press forward in hope of a new and better life for themselves and their family. Their road to resilience is an inspiration to all.

The event will be an evening of hors d'oeuvres and libations catered by Max Rochester, with art installations, music, a silent auction, keynote speaker Lt. Gen. John Bradley, Chief of Air Force Reserve, and desserts.

The online auction will end on April 23rd and transition to a live event at the gala at 6p.m. on April 26th.
