Remember Our Fallen Heroes

Always Remembers role is to raise funds so wreaths can be placed locally on the graves at Wood National Cemetery. This is a large undertaking as 37,000+ fallen heroes rest within its grounds. Also, for 2017 we have undertaken Remembering the 15,000+ at Wisconsin Southern Veterans Memorial Cemetery – Union Grove. The latter is equally important for the surrounding community as Woods no longer can accommodate burials; therefore, most fallen heroes from the region are now buried there.

Always Remember is a local sponsor for Wreaths Across America (WAA) that is a non-profit whose mission is to Remember, Honor, Teach about those fallen heroes who have fought and died to Protect our Freedom and Preserve our ‘inalienable’ Rights. The goal of WAA is to lay wreaths on the graves of these brave men and women resting within all National Cemeteries each December. For this to be achieved a year-long campaign is necessary. Our funds are used for both Wood National Cemetery Milwaukee and Wisconsin Southern Veterans Memorial Cemetery-Union Grove.
