Big Thompson Elementary PTA 2022 Auction

Big T's online auction is a large part of our annual Chili Supper. This year we are hosting our 71st Chili Supper. Money raised from our auction and chili supper goes right back to the students, staff, and families at Big T. Each year we are able to use our funds to pay for field trips, mini grants for staff members, provide staff members with resources for their rooms and roles, host the only elementary science fair in the district, and fund EL education. In addition to this, we are hoping to buy a new sound system for the school to utilize, as well as a shade structure for the upper playground.

Big T PTA is one of Colorado's longest running Parent Teacher Associations representing Big Thompson Elementary School at the base of the foothills in Loveland, Colorado. This year marks Big T's 102nd Birthday and the PTA's 72nd Annual Chili Supper and Online Auction! This long standing tradition brings together current and former families, some that go back generations, community members, and local businesses to raise money to support Big T PTA and its beneficiaries.

Big T PTA supports the school's ongoing needs in educational programs, family activities and building resources. Last year, the Chili Supper and OnlineAuction fed more than 500 people and raised over $25,000! Big T PTA was also able to donate funds to the school to EL Education, to supplement Big T's STEM and Nature Curriculum. Big T is the only school in Northern Colorado to offer EL Education to their students! With 60 members to date, Big T PTA continues to work to support our little school in the country and offer family engagement programs.
