Bless Yer Heart

BLESS YER HEART is the brain child of four nerds (Sloane Warren, Ryan Dunn, Ronny Mathew, and Jill Hames) that came together to tell a new kind of story about the South. We set out to break the mold of what you have seen of Southern culture on TV thus far. Our ultimate goal is to get picked up by a cable channel such as Comedy Central, Adult Swim, or Netflix. We wanted to pay tribute to sketch comedy shows like "Key and Peele" and "Portlandia", with the grounded acting style of "Arrested Development," and just a dash of the genre-roasting hilarity of "Kentucky Fried Movie." Our goal is to be able to create a second season and additional content for BLESS YER HEART: A Georgia Grown Comedy web-series. We were blessed to have an angel donor for our first season and made 10 episodes with only $7400.00. Our goal is to provide opportunities for the talent we have in Georgia while depicting sub-pockets of Southern culture that you have never seen before. We have created opportunities locally for close to 100 artists both in front of and behind the camera. We are SAG NEW MEDIA, which means we can help actors with credits to join the union. Our commitment to hire local artists with connections to Georgia has gained over 1100 original likes on Facebook.
