About Elizabeth Seton Residence Meet the Need Auction

When the doors to Elizabeth Seton Residence opened 41 years ago, a visionary group of Sisters saw that the most valuable gift for our elders, was the embodiment of their vision of providing compassionate, caring service and creating an atmosphere where all feel welcome and respected. Today, the Elizabeth Seton Residence is recognized as one of the finest skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the country.

We are honored to be identified for the 9th consecutive year as a Top Performing Skilled Nursing Facility by US News & World Report, recognized by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a 5-Star Quality facility, and the recipient of the 2017 AHCA Bronze Quality award. Locally, we are a preferred provider for both the Mass General Brigham Healthcare System and the Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare System.

The Elizabeth Seton Residence is a Catholic, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization welcoming seniors from all walks of life. We provide long-term skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, hospice and palliative care.

Over the last year and a half, we have learned that creativity and flexibility are essential in navigating through this time of Covid. In light of this, we are deferring the return to our in-person Meet the Need Dinner until 2022. This year, we are again hosting our virtual Meet the Need Auction in its place.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our friends and supporters, we exceeded our goal and raised over $73,000 for the Elizabeth Seton Residence. We need your support to help us reach this year’s goal of $75,000. The money raised will be used for necessary building and equipment upgrades, including the replacement of resident televisions and furniture.

The 2021 Virtual Meet the Need Auction will begin on Friday, October 29, 2021 and run through Friday, November 5, 2021 at 32auctions.com/esr. We are planning some creative twists on traditional auction items along with opportunities for some much-needed fun!

The Residence offers long-term care, short-term, post-acute rehabilitation stays, and outpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy.
