Tu B'Av Full Moon Party Silent Auction

This past January, Jewish Farm School moved into a new shared programming space in West Philly to serve as a base for many of our classes, workshops, and programs. On Thursday July 26th we are hosting a Tu B'Av Full Moon Party to raise funds for this new space.
In ancient times, Tu B'Av marked the beginning of the grape harvest, and was a celebration of love and joy.

We are incredibly grateful to our friends and local businesses who have donated their time, products, and services to this silent auction. The auction will begin online and then carry over into Thursday's event.

All of the funds raised will support 707-our new shared programming and office space that is becoming a unique center for Jewish life in West Philadelphia. 707 is a place where people gather to build community, ask big questions, celebrate the cycles of the calendar, learn to live more sustainably, and engage in the holy work of helping to build a more just and equitable food system.

Jewish Farm School equips and mobilizes Jews to be part of building a just, equitable, and sustainable food system. We renew our connection to land, food, spirit, and communal celebration. We root this work in Jewish values, traditions, and the cycles of the Hebrew calendar.

We nourish our communities by offering skills-based trainings and food justice education, garden-based programming, hosting Shabbat and holiday gatherings, and acting in solidarity with non-Jews who uproot systems of oppression that unjustly influence our agricultural, environmental, and social wellbeing.

Join us on Thursday July 26th from 7pm-10pm for a Tu B'Av Full Moon Party, a fundraiser supporting Jewish Farm School and 707 S. 50th Street, our new space for community and learning.
