The Silent Art Auction Exhibit showcases the vibrant talent present in Howard County. Winning bids are split 50/50 with the artist unless the artist has elected to donate the full amount to the Arts Council. Donation amounts are indicated in each artwork's description. Purchase prices include MD 6% sales tax.

Proceeds from the Auction and the Celebration of the Arts go toward Howard County Arts Council programs such as classes, exhibits, and the Howard County Center for the Arts. By bidding on the artwork, you help us in our mission to support the arts, artists, and arts organizations in Howard County!

Howard County Arts Council serves and enriches our community by fostering the arts, artists, and arts organizations.

To support our mission and goals, we sponsor a wide variety of arts initiatives that nurture and strengthen the arts. We award grants and scholarships, provide advancement opportunities for artists and arts organizations, create an environment for open expression and exchange, encourage people — young and old alike — to discover their own artistic talents, and act as the primary voice and advocate for the Howard County arts community. And, we provide a home for the arts at the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City.
