24th Annual Photography Exhibit & Benefit Auction
In-Sight Photography Project's Annual Benefit Auction supports our student scholarship fund which makes it possible for In-Sight to provide financially accessible after-school arts programming for all.
The Auction is a very special event where a broad community of artists and In-Sight supporters come together to showcase the wide breadth of creativity and vision present in the photo world. It would not be possible without the generosity of artists who donate their work, nor would it be possible without the hundreds of bidders who come to buy the work.
This year's auction includes a new category of "Photo Experiences", in addition to books and prints. Don't miss these opportunities:
"Lightroom/Digital Photo Editing" with David Erickson
"Family Portrait Session" with Sarah Lavigne
"Display Your Artwork" at Harmony Collective
"Portrait Session" with Rachel Portesi
"Tin-Type Demonstration" with Rachel Portesi
"Gift Card for Vermont Center for Photography"
BIDDING
Bidding will open Friday, September 2nd at 5:00PM and continue through 7:00PM on Friday, October 1st.
You may create your profile on 32 Auctions at anytime. No need to wait until bidding opens.
All bidding takes place online and is therefore open to bidders all over the world. Generally starting bids are set at 25% of the Fair Market Value of the item.
If you don’t want to risk missing your favorite piece, take advantage of the “Buy it Now” option that will be available for all items.
THE EXHIBITION
In-Sight will exhibit a curated selection of auction photographs at our facility at 183 Main Street in downtown Brattleboro. We encourage you to stop in to see this collection in person during Gallery Walk on September 2nd or by appointment throughout the month of September.
WHAT YOUR BID SUPPORTS
The Auction supports In-Sight Photography Project’s scholarship fund which makes it possible for In-Sight to provide its programs to all young people, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
