MBY STRONG REBUIILD

The Mattapoisett Boat Yard was completely decimated in the fire on August 19. They lost every building, all their tools, inventories, computers, records, etc.

The SILENT AUCTION will begin immediately online and continue as an online auction until 2:00 PM on the afternoon of October 20, 2022. Then bidding sheets will be printed and it will continue as an in-person silent auction until about 7:00 PM at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett.

Additionally, there will be several big-ticket items sold in a LIVE AUCTION with an auctioneer at the Bay Club Event.

A Community Effort To Restore The Mattapoisett Boat Yard…October 20, 2022 (5:00 – 8:00 PM)

At 1:27 PM August 19 tragedy struck and the historic Mattapoisett Boat Yard was completely destroyed by fire.

The Boatyard has been an integral part of our community for 60 years. The Kaisers are determined to rebuild, but the road will be a rough and costly one.

This is our chance to help our beloved neighbors when they need it most.
