About Our Auction
Welcome to Downtown Racine’s 13th year of Public Art! We are excited to share with you this year’s project, Monumental Squares.
All 400 of our 8” x 8” canvases were individually created by local, regional and national artists. Our artists were invited to use the medium of their choice. They were only limited by their imaginations.
Between June 3 and July 7th, you are invited to bid on the Monumental Square(s) of your choice. The minimum bid for each Monumental Square is $100. All Monumental Squares not sold at auction by July 7 will be included in the Art Raffle where everyone is a winner!
All of the Monumental Squares will be on exhibit in Downtown Racine from June 3 through September 7.
While we have tried to capture the essence of these masterpieces, our amateur photography does not always capture the details and vibrancy of the original works. Please visit them in Downtown Racine to fully appreciate these exquisite works.

In June, DRC kicked of its 13th annual public art project - Monumental Squares. This was a very exciting project and we were overwhelmed with support from local, regional and national artists. Over 400 8” x 8” masterpieces were individually created and exhibited.
Despite a lively on-line auction and raffle, we still have some spectacular pieces that need a good home. As you begin making your list, this would be an opportune time to put a splendid piece of art in your sleigh! We have something for everyone, including those who are hardest to shop for.
