“Sun, Sand, Soccer, and Lake Monster?" Art Auction

“Sun, Sand, Soccer, and Lake Monster?" is a children’s book written by local author/artist Jeff Levonian. It is the second children’s book he has authored, written in follow-up to “Is There a Monster in My Bathub?”

20 area artists participated in this project, each providing an original piece of art illustrating one page. Each artist was given “free reign” to interpret their portion of the story and the finished pieces include acrylic painting, watercolor, mixed media, stained glass and metal sculpture.

These original artworks will be displayed at the RAC ArtSpace Gallery together with text, forming a unique walk-through story experience.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Racine Arts Council in it's mission to encourage, support and advocate on behalf of emerging and established artists, artistic groups in our community and young people interested in the arts.
