Last Chance Auction

The Center for Cultural Preservation's SPRING MOUNTAIN ART SHOW was a success! Many fine pieces of art and photography were donated that demonstrate the beauty of our mountains. Given the sheer number of pieces, not all pieces where bid on in the original auction, hence the LAST CHANCE AUCTION giving people who support the Center's mission of keeping our mountain heritage alive for future generations a chance to make final bids on the remaining pieces.

The Center for Cultural Preservation is a nonprofit institution dedicated to preserving the culture, history, and adaptive strategies of Western North Carolina's cultural legacies. By honoring and transmitting these cultural traditions, we offer today's citizenry a closer connection with their recent past that's more sustainable over the long-term. The Center fulfills this mission through oral history, documentary film, and public programs that rekindle the power of local culture and the value of its continuance.
