By participating in our Annual Silent Auction, you will be supporting the continuation of Pure Waters programs and projects, and our mission to preserve, protect, and promote Seneca lake water quality. Plus, you'll take home some great items that were generously donated to Pure Waters from many local businesses! So thank you for being a friend to Seneca Lake!

Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association (SLPWA) is a 501(c) 3 organization established in 1990 and dedicated to the cause of preserving, protecting, and promoting Seneca lake water quality.

A clean healthy Seneca Lake is critical to our quality of life. It supports jobs, property values, and a strong local economy as well as provides drinking water and recreational value. With so many threats to the lake, it is vital for Pure Waters to continue our mission to preserve, protect, and promote Seneca Lake water quality.

Your support directly funds our many projects and programs important to the Seneca Lake’s health. A few examples include:
• Stabilizing stream banks and creating settling ponds to prevent harmful runoff carrying sediments and nutrients from entering the lake.
• Working with partners to increase agricultural best management practices throughout the watershed, such as cover cropping.
• Testing stream and lake waters for a wide array of nutrients and chemical pollutants.
• Monitoring HABs and informing members and the public via text alerts.
• Lake Friendly Living educational materials, presentations, and seminars.
