Lydia's Wish

The proceeds from this auction will go to Lydia.

Lydia is 16 years old from Whistler, BC. Lydia was diagnosed with complex congenital heart disease at a young age. She had her first open heart surgery at just six months old. Since then, she’s had seven more surgeries to repair her heart.

At age eleven Lydia had a bad fall while water skiing which resulted in a brain bleed due to the blood thinners she needs to take. Despite her condition, Lydia loves to be active. She has taken up skiing, water skiing, dance and volleyball. Now sixteen, Lydia has a new passion. After watching the documentary, Biggest Little Farm, a new interest in sustainable agriculture was born.

When Make-A-Wish asked her what she’d wish for, Lydia said she wants to learn how to grow organic food and interact with animals with her sister, Stella.

We are partnering with Diamond Rally 2021 to raise money for their featured charity The Make-a-Wish Foundation.
