Starlight Purple Haze Paintings Auction

Purchase a piece of Purple Haze!

Painted on the grass of Domain Stadium before the bounce down of the Purple Haze Game in round one, each one of these paintings have a touch of the Purple Haze Spirit.

All four paintings measure 1.2 x 2 metres plus extra to allow for stretching onto a stretcher frame.

Materials are artist quality acrylic paint on artist quality canvas.

The paintings were donated by Starlight Children's Foundation and Fremantle Dockers supporter Phil Doncon.

A little on Phil....
Phil has performed his style of live painting in collaboration with three of Australia’s premier symphony orchestras as part of the Play me a Picture series - the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra in 2008 and 2012, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in 2010, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra in 2006, 2007 and 2012.

He has also performed alongside Graham Wood Trio, Boom Crash Opera, The Chantoozies, Ross Wilson and the Perth Chamber Orchestra.

Saturday 7 April marked the 16th annual Starlight Purple Haze Game when Freo played the Gold Coast Suns at Optus Stadium.

Through the Purple Haze Game, Freo members and supporters have raised more than $1.1 million for the Starlight Children's Foundation over the past 16 years.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation provides programs integral to the total care of seriously ill children. While health professionals focus on treating the illness, Starlight is there to lift the spirits of the child, giving them the opportunity to laugh, play and be a child again.
