About Our Auction
Guatemala Stove Project (GSP) is hosting its fourth online silent auction. Take your time and scroll through the gallery of items as there are many which are sure to tempt!
The auction provides an opportunity to donate to GSP programs (stoves, microloans and educational bursaries for girls) as well as bidding on a variety of interesting and useful items. A great chance to buy seasonal gifts as well as helping others.
Payment and pickup details are provided with each item.
About Guatemala Stove Project
Guatemala Stove Project (GSP) is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to helping indigenous Maya people in the western highlands of Guatemala. Founded in 1999 in Perth, Ontario, GSP is a registered Canadian charity #871977617RR0001.
To date, GSP has funded the construction of 8,166 chimney vented family cookstoves and 54 school cookstoves. This has an immediate health benefit for families, cuts greenhouse gases and helps to preserve forests.
GSP supports girls to attend middle and high school with the aid of educational bursaries. Our microloan fund is used to finance many small ventures which would otherwise be impossible. Additionally, GSP responds to emergency needs such as health problems and environmental disasters.
