2024 Baskets & Bubbly

The annual summer fundraiser, 2024 Baskets & Bubbly, supports the iconic island craft of Nantucket Lightship Baskets with a fun celebration, at the Whaling Museum, accompanied by an online auction providing bidders with the opportunity to bid on baskets and basket-related items. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Gallery with its mission in affiliation with the Nantucket Historical Association.

Baskets & Bubbly is one of the summer fundraisers for the Nantucket Historical Association. The mission is to enhance lightship basket exhibits and enlarge the permanent baskets collection, research, and create awareness about the history of the Nantucket Lightship Baskets right up to the present day. In addition, exciting basket classes are ongoing for children and adults, year-round through the NHA's Decorative Arts program.
