Great American Travelers

The NSCDA's inaugural Great American Travelers Online Auction will be held October 21 - November 4, 2024. This auction provides Dames everywhere with the exclusive opportunity to bid on special experiences within the United States. All proceeds from this auction will go towards our Great American Treasures initiatives in support of historic preservation.

We encourage you to bid and get an early start on holiday shopping - or find a trip for yourself. The Historic Hotels of America packages and the Kentucky trip may be given to anyone. The packages at the other properties do require that a Dame be among the visitors, SO this means you can give it to a sister, mother, daughter or friend who is a Dame!

The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America promotes appreciation for the people, places and events that led to the formation and development of our country. We are an unincorporated association of 44 Corporate Societies with more than 15,000 members. The NSCDA has been a leader in the field of historic preservation, restoration and the interpretation of historic sites since its New York Society first undertook the preservation of the Van Cortlandt House in 1897. The National Society headquarters is located at Dumbarton House, a Federal period house museum in Washington, D.C.
