SRC 5th Annual Online Auction

For the Sointula Resource Centre (SRC) to operate, ongoing fundraising is essential. Our annual online silent auction plays a crucial role in this effort, and it's our largest fundraiser of the year. It's a fantastic opportunity to support the important work of the SRC while also checking off some items from your holiday shopping list—all while having fun! Thank you for your continued support. We couldn’t do this without you.

The auction will close promptly at 8:00 PM on Sunday. This year, there will be no extended bidding. In previous years, extended bidding added 3 minutes to the timer for any item that received a new bid in the final 3 minutes of the auction.

Since 2002 the Sointula Resource Centre (SRC) has been a local information and networking hub in the heart of Sointula on Malcolm Island. SRC is a non-profit organization offering numerous services for individuals and businesses in our community. We help with resumes and job searches, access to computers with free internet, assistance accessing and submitting local, provincial and federal forms and applications, faxing, printing and copying, youth employment and volunteer opportunities, a monthly newsletter with job opportunities and local information updates and community orientation to new residents.

SRC provides services for local businesses and non-profits. These services include a yearly visitor brochure with a distribution of 8,000, a monthly newsletter for announcements, a website with an island directory and community calendar - sointulainfo.ca, discounted office services, Community Market Stand, event promotion, fundraising support, reduced rates on office services and social media exposure. SRC is also a Destination BC Visitor Services Centre providing information to thousands of visitors annually. Above all SRC offers a safe comfortable place for community support and connection.
