About Our Auction
Our 4th online gift auction begins November 11th thru the 14th and we hope you'll participate! We hoped to go back to our huge, in-person auction this fall but with more restrictions coming down from the pandemic, it's not worth the risk. Our online auctions are a fun way to raise money that supports the animals at all three of our AHS shelters and our Popcorn Park Animal Refuge. The auction begins at 5pm on Nov. 11th and ends at 5pm, Nov. 14th.
The auction is simple: each item has a starting bid price. If you're interested, you bid! Increments go up by 50 cents and the highest bidder in the end, wins! PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO PAY.
Winners MUST pick up their gifts the week after the auction at AHS/Popcorn Park, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731. We cannot ship any gifts except for gift certificates. For more, please see "Shipping" under each item.
We're currently collecting donations of brand new items (in box or with tags) and gift certificates. Donations can be dropped off anytime or sent to: AHS/Popcorn Park Gift Auction, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731. Even if you don't have anything to donate, please make a donation here. Call 609-693-1900 or email: njhumane2@aol.com with any questions.
About Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, The Associated Humane Societies is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey. We operate three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly -- farm animals, birds, and wildlife (domestic and exotic). The Society is a not for profit, 501 (c) 3 organization. In addition Popcorn Park is a federally licensed zoo. We take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
