ANKORS Art Slam for HIV/AIDS

Thank you for supporting ANKORS and joining us in celebrating many of the wonderful artists in our community! In this online auction, you will find many of the pieces of art that were created during the 72-hour art slam. The artists have chosen to donate all or a portion of the proceeds they receive from this auction to the ANKORS Foundation Fund. This fund aims to support the specific needs of people living with HIV/AIDS in the Kootenay/Boundary region, such as providing nutritional enhancement or supporting access to medical care. ANKORS programs are based on the belief that services are provided in a non-judgmental manner without prejudice that ensures individuals right to anonymity and confidential access. We serve those living with and at the greatest risk of acquiring HIV / AIDS and/or HCV, who have difficulty obtaining services elsewhere, especially due to substance use, mental illness, sexual orientation, gender identity, race and ethnicity, and/or other social barriers.
