Christmas in July - Africa Edition

"Christmas in July - Africa Edition" includes over 70 items we hand-picked in Africa (mostly South Africa, Botswana and Uganda); bought fair-trade and direct from the artisans themselves. With good South African wine, jewelry, art, wood crafts and more - there's enough to find something for almost everyone as you get some early Christmas shopping done. The auction starts July 17 and runs the whole week prior to our sharing event on July 25, giving you time to make your bids. You don't need to attend the event to win some great items!

All proceeds go to SADRA Conflict Transformation www.sadra.co.za and the Social Justice Fund Northwest. www.socialjusticefund.org a local foundation supporting some innovative and very needed initiatives. SJF works towards long-term societal transformation by funding community-based organisations in developing leadership and strategy for change.

From 2016 - 2019, as International Service Workers sent by Mennonite Mission Network, we worked with SADRA Conflict Transformation in Cape Town, South Africa. There we assisted Director Oscar Siwali in the work of bringing nonviolent conflict resolution skills to troubled communities and situations.
