Amanda Todd Legacy Auction 2024 - #CaringForOthers

Welcome to the 8th ANNUAL AMANDA TODD LEGACY ONLINE AUCTION FOR 2024!!

This legacy was established as a non-profit society with the mission goal of focusing on awareness and the well-being of young people and families with respect to prevention, resources and awareness related to cyberbullying, exploitation/sextortion, online safety and wellness.

With the kind-hearted contributions and donations from compassionate humans, Amanda's Legacy strives to achieve its objectives, akin to reaching for the stars (or snowflakes). The legacy is committed to empowering children, youth, parents, and community members, fostering trust and confidence that enables them to make a positive impact on their own lives and those of others.

As a global team, we will persist in uniting to bring about the significant changes we all aspire to see. With your participation in this auction, we express our gratitude in advance for being a part of TEAM AMANDA!!

Last year’s auction was able to raise $27,000 and Amanda’s Legacy was able start a $25,000 endowment award for students studying in the Music Therapy program at Capilano University - click here to read more. Music therapy is a therapeutic approach that harnesses the mood-enhancing properties of music to promote mental well-being and overall health. It involves various activities, such as making music, writing songs, singing, dancing, listening to music, and discussing musical experiences.

October 14, 2023 - Aydin Coban was sentenced to 13 years Canadian prison time.

December 7, 2023 – In the Netherlands, the Dutch courts ruled that the Canadian sentence of 13 years for Aydin Coban would be converted to 6 years in Dutch years. AC has since appealed this ruling.

August 2024 - ACoban completes his Dutch sentence of 10 years 8 months and begins his sentence for being found guilty of crimes committed against Amanda Todd. (We have also heard that he is appealing his Canadian/Dutch sentence.)
