Angel Paws Rescue GTA Fall 2024

WELCOME TO OUR FALL 2024 AUCTION! We're glad you stopped by. Please "paws” a moment and browse; we have some awesome bargains! Every dollar raised will go to our rescue's expenses.

Please remember to name our rescue when calling so that your donation goes into our account, and please also let us know. And now for the fine print:

1. This auction begins at 10 am on Thursday, November 14 and closes at 8 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

2. Please only bid if you are sincerely interested in the item and plan to pay and arrange pick up.

3. All items are new unless specified and have been graciously donated by our supporters. Descriptions are as accurate as possible. We assume all donated items are in working condition but make no guarantees.

4. Any items not picked up within 21 days with no other arrangements made are forfeited by the winning bidder.

5. We are a charity and cannot accept returns or offer refunds.

6. PLEASE WAIT FOR AN EMAIL FROM US AFTER THE AUCTION END BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT. We would appreciate if you would e-transfer (only) your total within 36 hours of your email notification AND let us know the location you wish to pick up from. If you don't see an email from us within 24 hours after the end of the auction, please check your junk or spam folder.

7. IMPORTANT: It takes time for volunteers to pack up the winning items. Please be patient. We plan to begin delivering to pick-up locations no later than two weeks after auction close, and can only deliver to each location ONCE. Deliveries typically take two weekends. If you don't tell us where you wish to pick up from until after we have already made our delivery to your preferred location, your item(s) will be in Mississauga at Dundas and Tomken and you will need to pick up from there. If the size and weight of your item(s) is appropriate for mailing we can do so provided you pay the cost.

Our pickup locations are in Mississauga, Bloor West Village, East Toronto (the Science Centre), Carlisle (Waterdown), Hamilton (Magnolia and Mohawk), and London (Adelaide and Kipps).

NEW *** We can deliver to your door for a flat fee of $20. Areas for delivery are Mississauga, central and south Etobicoke, Burlington and Hamilton. We can try to accommodate other areas; please ask for availability.

Angel Paws Rescue is dedicated to saving cats, and the odd dog, when they are in danger of being euthanized because there is nowhere for them to go. We do not have a shelter, and our pets live as house pets until adoption. Every pet is fully vetted (spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped) and any existing health needs are looked after. We love them and care for them as our own. The money raised from this auction will go toward the tens of thousands of dollars we pay annually for vet care, food and supplies for our rescued pets. Please note that we are currently closed for intake. Our bills have exceeded what we can afford right now and this auction will help alleviate the costs we have incurred and owe to date.

The cats currently in the care of Angel Paws are mostly unadoptable for age and health reasons and will remain in our care to live out their lives. As an independent rescuer this has been a financial stress that, with the increased cost of everything, has become difficult to sustain. We remain 100% committed to these cats and will use the funds raised in this auction for their continued care.
