BSHS Fall Auction

Welcome to our Fall 2024 Auction! We are thrilled to have you join us in supporting Lighthouse Villa as we prepare to break ground on this long-awaited affordable seniors housing project in Bowser!

We recently received project approval from BC Housing, bringing us to the construction stage of our project. However, the fundraising continues as we move to provide the items not covered by our funding, such as common area furnishings, a generator, and kitchen equipment. Every bid in this auction brings us closer to making Lighthouse Villa a fully-outfitted, vibrant community.

Just in time for Christmas gift-giving or the upcoming garden season, this auction has options galore with lots of community-inspired creations, travel choices, items to beautify your home and yard, plus experiences for you to enjoy.

We're always trying to engage our community here and friends elsewhere to support our vision to provide affordable, independent housing for our seniors. This is a great way to showcase our local donors, too, and acknowledge their continued support. So please take a look at all that is being offered and have some fun bidding!

NOTE: We are unable to cover the cost of shipping handcrafted/merchandise items, but will gladly mail out gift certificates to successful bidders.

IT'S HAPPENING!!! Lighthouse Villa, an independent seniors living complex of 22 mostly one-bedroom suites in the Bowser village core, is about to become a reality.

Since 2005, the Bowser Seniors Housing Society (BSHS) has been committed to the concept of affordable housing for seniors within their own community. Our goal is to provide a housing alternative that allows seniors to remain in the community close to friends and family and maintain independent living.
