About Our Auction

These birds are for sale by a pet breeder in Springvale, Melbourne who contacted the BSSA and asked to be involved in our online auctions.

The majority of the birds have bloodlines from Christine Sabateen in South Australia. Christine was a very popular breeder for many years and specialised in frillbacks, texas clearbodies, dilutes and not to mention some of the best crests ever seen.

As you will notice, almost all birds are crest bred, with many being tuffed/crested and/or frillbacks.

These majority of birds are unrung, however the vendor has a very good knowledge of hatched year and breeding performance.

The BSSA would love to see more pet/coloured hobbyists become involved with our Clubs throughout Australia. Most of our guest speakers at Club meetings would impart fantastic and practical knowledge to all hobbyists, whether they be exhibition breeders or pet breeders.

All descriptions of birds are taken in good faith from the seller.
BSSA Inc is not responsible for any inaccuracies and these must be addressed with the seller.
Please note bids will remain anonymous and only your bidder number will show.
Please be aware of the location of bird as the freight cost is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please register phone number as this will ease the contact process if you are a successful bidder.
The BSSA is a not for profit organisation and all proceeds go towards the promotion of the club and the hobby.
