Brush with Nature Art Auction 2022

The paintings in this auction were created by Maine artists at Maine Audubon's centers and sanctuaries in late summer of 2022. Proceeds from this auction will benefit Maine Audubon’s education, conservation, and advocacy programs, and we thank you for your support.

An in-person Live and Silent Auction will take place on Thursday, Sept. 29, 5:30 to 8 pm, at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center, 20 Gilsland Farm Road, Falmouth.

All the Brush with Nature paintings can be seen here and most are available for online bidding. A selection of featured paintings are only available for preview, and will be auctioned at the Live Auction on Sept. 29. If you cannot attend in person, you can get a proxy to bid for you (details below).

You can preview the Brush with Nature paintings in person at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center, 20 Gilsland Farm Road, Falmouth, ME, where they are on view in the gallery from Sept. 19 - 29, from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays, 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Maine Audubon works to conserve Maine’s wildlife and wildlife habitat by engaging people in education, conservation, and action. Our eight sanctuaries are open daily from dawn to dusk for free and we encourage people to visit and engage with nature!

All the other paintings are available for online bidding (beginning at noon on September 19). If you fall in love with a painting, these pieces have a Buy It Now feature.

Any paintings not purchased online via the Buy It Now feature by 10 am on September 29 will transition to the in-person Silent Auction, which takes place on Thursday, September 29, 5:30 - 8 pm. All online bids will transfer to the Silent Auction. If you have placed a bid online, you’ll be notified when the item is transitioned to in-person bidding and will have an opportunity to set up a proxy.

Live Auction items will also be available for proxy bidding.

If you are interested in proxy bidding during the event on September 29, please email Laura Seretta, lseretta@maineaudubon.org. You will be able to set a maximum bid and a staff member will continue to bid for you until that amount is reached, for both the Silent Auction and the Live Auction.
