"Church of the Nativity: Not So Silent Auction"

Welcome to our “Not-so-Silent” auction! We’re so excited to be offering some terrific merchandise to help raise money for a much-needed new sound system in the church.
In the spirit of being all-inclusive, we want to ensure that the entire congregation is able to hear the entire service without difficulty, whether in-person or virtually.
The cost of the new sound system is estimated at $50,000. $16,000 has already been donated.
Please take a look a the variety of items and make your wish list. Bidding will go live on October 7 and end on October 14 with a live auction at Church of the Nativity and a celebration for the contributions by so many.

The Church of the Nativity is a multi-generational worshiping community, committed to serving North Raleigh and the world by expressing the loving, life-giving, liberating power of God through active ministries of social and racial justice, creation care, LGBTQIA support, and peace. We believe the world longs to hear of the loving and inclusive nature of God and wish to be effective communicators of that message of love to our community.

On October 14, at 7:00 PM, Nativity's "Not-So-Silent" Auction will go live at Estill House at Church of the Nativity (8849 Ray Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). We will also begin our Sound System Soiree with various refreshments, including wine for those who purchase a wine-tasting ticket.

The online bidding will stop at 3:00 PM.

Between 7:00 and 8:15 pm, the auction will continue with paper bid sheets.

Between 8:15 and 9 pm, we will have an auctioneer lead us in our final bidding for particular items.

The highest bidder will receive an email notification but will not be able to pick up their items until the next day.

For those who place bids online but are not able to attend the Oct. 14 Auction and Soiree, you will have the option to place a proxy bid. A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.

To enter a proxy bid, enter your maximum bid amount, click the Proxy Bid button, and then submit your bid. If you don't see the Proxy Bid button, the auction administrator has turned off this option.
To enter an exact bid, enter your bid amount, click the Exact Bid button, and then submit your bid.
