2023 Awards Night Silent Auction

This is Denver Justice & Peace Committee's major fundraising event, through which we are hoping to raise $3,000. Your generous donations support our educational programs, awareness campaigns, and solidarity projects with our sisters and brothers throughout the Americas.

The virtual silent auction is happening in conjunction with our annual DJPC Awards Night on Thursday, November 9th. We will present our annual Global Justice and Peace Award to Departmental Assembly of the Peoples of Huehuetenango - ADH who is being honored for their work, over 17 years, in defense of the lands, water, life and human rights of the Q'anjob'al, Chuj, Akateko, Popti and Mam people of Huehuetenango, Guatemala.

We will also be recognizing the work and ally-ship of Melissa Nix from the Director of Curriculum & Intercultural Programming at Regis College Center for Service Learning.

The Celebration program will include opening remarks, musical performance by Elisa Garcia a singer/guitarist originally from Uruguay, keynote by Victor Sales who will be receiving the award in representation of ADH. Stay tuned for more details of the program.

The event is open to the public. We suggest a donation of $23 per person, more is always welcomed. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
