DXV Design Panel 2015 Auction

Each year, DXV by American Standard selects a panel of design professionals to create inspiring design concepts using DXV luxury bathroom fittings and fixtures. This year, seven designers were challenged to create a bath or kitchen design concept drawing on the DXV portfolio of products. Guided by the premise of Reinventing the Classics the designers formulated a visual translation of a well-known piece of literature such as: Breakfast at Tiffany's, Anna Karenina, Like Water for Chocolate, Room with a View and Water for Elephants.
The designers were asked to create two vignettes for each title using not only DXV products but also a selection of luxurious textiles, furnishings and accessories. DXV has now made a selection of these products available for auction with proceeds being donated to Reach Out and Read (www.reachoutandread.org ) a national nonprofit organization that works through the pediatric healthcare system to prescribe books and reading aloud to foster language-rich interactions between parents and their young children.
