Proceeds from this auction will go towards paying medical and dental expenses that were incurred following a bicycle accident on April 15th, 2017, which broke my jaw. My health insurance covered only a portion of the expenses. To heal the broken jaw, my upper and lower jaws were wired shut for 5 weeks. Extensive dental work was also required once the jaw was healed. In August, X-rays revealed that a mistake had been made during the surgery. One of the 6 holes that had been drilled into my jaw had been drilled through the root of a tooth, resulting in infection and compromised health of the tooth. Emergency dental work was needed (Thank you Dr. Parimal Nagjee and Dr. Lawrence Brockman!) and prolonged the length of this entire traumatic experience to total six months.

Hi! I am an artist living and working in Los Angeles.

I make my full time living doing calligraphy for a myriad of clients and projects including: invitation design, logo design, album design, fine art, poetry broadsides, surface design, etc.

The accident made running all aspects of my free lance business extremely difficult. The work that I lost the past six months is considerable and the contributions from this auction will help me get back on my feet again.

My clients include Barneys New York, Kelly Wearstler, Philip Glass, Molly Sims, Gavin Rossdale, Phoebe Cates, Donovan Leitch Jr., and Icebreaker Merino. The first fan letter I received in the mail was written and sent to me by Stephen "Stevie C." Colbert.

I graduated from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston/Tufts University in 2007 with a BFA in drawing, painting and jewelry design. I found my first career calling, as a calligrapher, in New York City while managing the stationery and design house Mr. Boddington's Studio. My current portfolio includes fine art, illustrations, calligraphy and custom jewelry.
