The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center (FELC) will host its 17th Annual Summer Harvest Gourmet Gala on Friday, August 9, 2024.
FELC’s three areas of focus foster a sense of community and growth:
Seeds of Hope Agricultural Program
• Training and employment for adults with developmental disabilities
• Purchase microgreens and hydroponic seeds for Seeds of Hope Farm
and supplies and organic fertilizer for our community gardens
• Supplies for Tiffin Farmers’ Market
• Clover initiative to transform grassy areas into pollinator-friendly clover

Seeds of Hope Farm has partnered with local businesses to provide microgreens and mushrooms and provide vegetables and herbs for Seeds of Joy Cooking Classes at Ralph’s Joy of Living.
About Franciscan Earth Literacy Center
The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, commonly called FELC, is a non-profit organization that was established in 1994 designed to promote an appreciation and understanding of our relationship with the natural world, and encourage sustainable living practices. In 2004, FELC started Seeds of Hope Farm. The farm is a chemical free operation, raising vegetables, fruit, herbs and livestock products for the general public, farmer’s markets and wholesale customers in a sustainable agriculture system.
