Faithful Friends 5k/Mutt Mile: Bid for Pets

Faithful Friends is thrilled to celebrate our 14TH ANNUAL 5K & Mutt Mile on Sunday, September 29th at Bellevue State Park.

Not only is this our biggest fundraising event of the year, but it's also the LARGEST dog-friendly race in Delaware! Bring your whole family (pups included!) to a day of fun with face painting, a doggy costume contest, and (of course) adoptable pups! Prefer a more leisurely walk? Sign up for the Mutt Mile.

Your generous donation to the 5K & Mutt Mile and online auction supports the lifesaving work for cats and dogs that happens everyday at Faithful Friends. Whether it’s finding forever, loving homes for abandoned pets, providing critical care to pets in need, or organizing therapeutic pet visits to the most vulnerable members of our community, the reach of Faithful Friends continues to expand.

THANK YOU, for being a part of 5K Run/Walk & Mutt Mile: Bid for Pets Online Auction to support homeless animals in Delaware. Every dollar makes a difference, saves lives, and supports an organization you love!

About Faithful Friends Animal Society

Faithful Friends Animal Society is a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization with a No Kill shelter and community veterinary clinic. All animals in our care stay with us until placed into new homes. We are funded through donations, grants, and fees for services. We allocate the majority of our budget (about 82%) for community programs and services.

Faithful Friends was born out of a moral imperative to expose the mass killing of cats and dogs entering Delaware’s publicly funded shelters. For two decades, our advocacy has vastly improved outcomes for shelter animals, saving thousands of easily adoptable, trainable, and treatable pets from certain death. With an unflagging commitment to our mission, we continue to advocate for reform, save lives, and reduce pet relinquishment through our local programs and services.

Programs and services include rescue and adoption, vaccine clinics, spay/neuter clinics, free pet food & supply bank, pet therapy services, and community outreach.
