FHI Holiday Kickoff Party 2024

Save the date and join us for this annual treat, as we return to the historic Principio Mansion.  This year we will honor Drs. Tim and Nina Gardner.  Fabulous food to be catered by The Wellwood; beer and wine are included. 

As always, we will have our silent and live auctions to help you with your holiday gift buying!  All items for both the silent and live auctions will be available for viewing at the Holiday Kickoff party, but if you just can't wait to see what's available or for the adrenaline rush of the bidding process (or can't join us this year), all of the silent auction items are available for viewing and bidding through this auction website (please review the Pickup/Shipping instructions with each item).  If you will be joining us, please be sure to bring your phone and credit card or Paypal information, since bidding and payment for the silent auction items will be exclusively on line.  The live auction will take place exclusively on site at the Holiday Kickoff party.

Funds raised from this auction will assist Fair Hill International's mission of assisting in the development of the rider and horse, in the sports of eventing, endurance and combined driving, from “Green to Gold.”  Thank you so much for coming along for the ride with us through your generous donations and by bidding on our items!

Fair Hill International’s Mission is to conduct and promote amateur and professional equestrian competitions, clinics, and special events to develop Eventing, Combined Driving and Endurance Riding from beginner through national and international levels, consistent with governing standards and with responsible care for safety, the environment, and sportsmanship.

With a motto of “From Green to Gold,” FHI provides opportunities for equestrians of all levels to train and test their horses through schoolings, Starter Trials, Nationally and Internationally Recognized Horse Trials, Endurance events and Carriage Driving events – from ‘green’ novices to ‘gold’ medal winners.

Fair Hill’s gently rolling terrain, meandering streams, and thick, lush turf make it the ideal venue for eventing. Its location, halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia in Fair Hill, Maryland, makes it a popular competition destination.

Since 1989, Fair Hill International has offered one of the most prestigious international three-day events in the world, located at the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area in beautiful Fair Hill, Maryland. Beginning in 2021 that event became known as the Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill, one of only seven five star events in the world. Fair Hill International is proud to be the Competition Partner for this event, which is now managed by the Sport & Entertainment Corporation of Maryland.

Eventing is the ultimate test of a horse and rider and has been referred to as the Triathlon of equestrian sport. Through tests in dressage, cross country, and show jumping, the horse and rider work together to show that they can compete in the most demanding and highest levels of equestrian sports.

But Fair Hill International is much more than top level Eventing. With a motto of “From Green to Gold” we provide opportunities all season long for riders of all levels to train and test their horses through schoolings, clinics, Starter Trials, and Nationally & Internationally Recognized Horse Trials from ‘green’ novices to ‘gold’ medal winners. We also annually hold a Combined Driving Competition (Elk Creek carriage driving event), and the Foxcatcher Endurance Ride. We are a non-profit, largely volunteer, organization and welcome you as a competitor, spectator, sponsor, supporter or volunteer to join our team!
