FODC's Summer Meltdown

Each year, FODC's largest fundraiser is the Spring Meltdown-- a live and silent auction held at the Morgantown Brewing Company. Due to COVID-19 and the continued need to social-distance, this year's Spring Meltdown has been cancelled. In its place, FODC is hosting this online silent auction and membership drive. We will be saving larger auction items for our next in-person fundraisers, tentatively planned for this fall. All proceeds from this auction go directly to Friends of Deckers Creek.

Friends of Deckers Creek (FODC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) watershed group located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Since we were formed in 1995, we have worked tirelessly towards our mission of improving the natural qualities of, increasing public concern for, and promoting the enjoyment of the Deckers Creek watershed.

The Deckers Creek watershed has been and continues to be negatively influenced by acid mine drainage from legacy mining, urban runoff, litter and general abandonment. We would not be able to operate without the support of our members and dedicated businesses throughout the United States. With this support we facilitate the construction of acid mine drainage treatment sites, organize creek clean ups and provide community environmental education to all ages.
