Mai Kai Employee Holiday Benefit

All proceeds will go directly to the furloughed staff of the world famous Mai Kai Restaurant and Polynesian Show in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This historic establishment has been in continuous operation since it opened it’s doors in 1956, but has sadly been hit hard in 2020. First was the closure due to COVID, and just as things were opening back up a structural failure in the roof lead to closure through the rest of Holiday season. Please join the Gumbo Limbo chapter of the Fraternal Order of Moai (www.fraternalorderofmoai.org) as we help to spread aloha and bring some joy to these hard working employees this season. We anxiously await the reopening of the Mai Kai in 2021! Mahalo!

Named after the indigenous South Florida tree, the Gumbo Limbo chapter of the Fraternal Order of Moai encompasses the Southern Florida/Caribbean region. The focus of the chapter is to celebrate the Tiki lifestyle while raising money for local animal charities.
