Fungus Among Us Fine Art Auction

After a really fun first-time online auction last year, I decided to prepare fresh work for an auction this year. This auction features several unique small paintings of mushrooms. I've come to be awed and inspired by their variety and diversity. Another unique element about this collection is that all of the work is framed in friendly, curved shapes - either oval or round.

As I did last year, I wanted to contribute to a worthy cause that is meaningful to me, and that has helped many people over the years. "Jericho Road” was founded in the 1990s and is an Ottawa-based organization focused on addition recovery. Through peer-mentoring, staff with lived experience, recovery meetings and community engagement, they build a community of inclusion that reaches far beyond the individual experiencing addiction to their families, friends and greater society. I am a professional Canadian visual artist specializing realistic acrylic paintings. While I've been exhibiting and selling my work for just over a decade, only in July of this year did I take the leap to become a full-time artist without relying upon supplemental part time work any longer. My vibrant, cheery paintings are brightening homes in North America, Mexico, Holland, Finland, England, and even New Zealand.

I am happy to collaborate with art lovers to craft personalized, custom pieces as well as to pursue some passions of my own. 2021 was my year of Fun Fungi. I am looking forward to new commissions next year, and to build up my 2022 collection.
