As some of you may have already heard, the track in Mobile Alabama will be ending racing on August 19. Just a few short weeks away. There are many people working to make arrangements for all of the greyhounds when this happens. We hope to be able to help and take some of the greyhounds that need to move. Your participation in this auction will allow us to be able to do just that! Thank you!

Dear GCMO Friends,

Over the years, we have been pretty successful at fund raising and have not felt the need to ask our supporters for donations. However, we currently find ourselves in the position to ask for financial help. Costs associated with vetting new greyhounds have steadily increased and we are waging an enormous battle against hookworm infestations in every new dog we bring in. Our current veterinary costs average about $500-600 per dog, and with the adoption fee of $275, we are behind with each new dog and our financial reserves have been steadily eroding.
