Welcome to the 2023 Solstice Silent Auction!

Bidding generously and with abandon means supporting the well-loved barrier-free outdoor immersion programs at Guelph Outdoor School. Our programs are a fun, effective, non-clinical, and preventative avenue toward overall health and well-being for kids, families and the community. Tried, tested, and true our weekly programs for kids, PD days, and week-long camps feature sliding scale options that ensure everyone has a place by the fire.

Founded in 2012, the Guelph Outdoor School (GOS) offers outdoor immersion and mentorship program that serves as a complement to classroom, remote and homeschooling choices. Designed by teachers and delivered by trained facilitators, GOS offers year-round programs at three locations to more than 300 students every year. We also offer drop-in programs for children under 5, and a set of programs for adults. Equity and reconciliation are a core value at GOS, and we recognize that systemic barriers exist that prevent Indigenous and BIPOC communities from accessing not just outdoor education programs like ours, but outdoor spaces in general. Our commitment to free and deeply discounted tuition for our programs to Indigenous and BIPOC communities is central to our work and exemplifies our commitment to reconciliation.
